The death is reported from Palmerston North of "William Mardon, aged 81, an, old settler, late of Rangiora.*P.A. / Professor'Scott, Dean of the Medical School at Otago 'University and a member of the University Senate, is dead (states a Press Association wire). Deceased was secretary of the Otago Art Society and a member of the Otago Institute.
