NEWTON KING’S STRATFORD WEEKLY REPORT. At the Haymarket on Saturday I had a moderate entry of pigs. There i was a large attendance and prices milling were, if anything, firmer for all I classes, large sorts meeting with keen demand, all lines being cleared at the hammer. 1 quote—Slips and weaners Gs Gd to Us Gd, small stores 15s to £1 ss, medium to good £1 17s Gd to £2 3s Gd, pedigree hoars (3 months) £3 3s Gd, pedigree sows (6 weeks) £i 15s. Quantity of timber and sundries meetling with fair demand. I will be offerling at my next Haymarket sale about 70U0 feet of timber.
