While several permanent artillerymen were exorcising the horses r this morning, Gunner Peter Harvey’s mount became restive and fell with its rider, wJ;p \yas heavily thrown and rendered unconscious. He was removed to the hospital, where it was found he, had sustained a fracture of the' base of the skull and other injuries. He died at 11.30 p.m.
