There is a general demand in America for the segregation of the sexes at cinema shows, several young women having reported that they were attacked while the lights wefo out. STEAMER COMPANY MULCT. Miss Katherine O’Rourke, charged by the medical officer with being the mother of a child found -"dead in the steerage of the steamer Campania, has been awarded 35,000 dollars damages against the Cunard Company.
