The most-talked-ahout event at the present limo is tlu> Taranaki Agricultural Society’s Autumn Show, to ho hold next Wednesday and Thursday, Kohruary 2oth and 26th. Sjiloudid eujtries have been received in nearly all the classes scheduled, and amongst the exhibits will be found some of the best stock in the Dominion. The competitive classes have all filled well, and as those who will face the judges have had a good deal of show ring experience, lovers of this class of sport will not be disappointed. The commitdee is doing everything possible to [provide for the entertainment and comfort of the public, so that both the country people, for whom special train arrangements have been made, and those from the town, can rest assured that a good outing i* m slot* i'or l them.
