There is a sligh loss of life and heavy damage to orange gfoveS. An automobjle' touring, party was caught when a retaining wall collapsed, releasing five feet of flood water. The car- was swept away, and the occupants took refuge in trees on the roadside. Ropes slung out from a nearby house saved them. A SPANISH DOWNPOUR. Madrid, February 19. Torrential rain devastated Oviedo and surrounding villages. The residents took refuge on the roofs. Towns are isolated, and road and train traffic is stopped.
