TWO COMPETITIONS. The local Fire Brigade held two competitions yesterday afternoon, the results being:— Hallenstein Bros.' Trophy.—Foreman E. A. Drake (scratch) 1. Wilson, Custodian Burgess, Secretary Gorton, Firemen Harris and Millner. This trophy has hoon competed for every 6 months for the past five and a half years, and has now been won outright by Foreman Drake, who won it three times at intervals. Bishara Cup.—Lieut. Wilson (sc.) 41 2-ssec, 1 : Fireman Millner (2sec) 42scc, 2; Custodian Burgess (scr.) 42 1-osec, 3. Same starters as in previous competition. Lieut. won the cup outright, having won it twice in succession.
