Nominations for events No. 4,7, 10 and 12, close with the secretary on Saturday, February 7, 1914, at 8 p.m.; and for Nos. 3, 6 and 9, close on 11th February, at 8 p.ln. All nominations must ho accompanied by the necessary fees, and performances for the last two years; if none in that time, the last two porortnances to be-given. Three to start or no race, four or no second prize. Event No. 5 is only open to horses that have never competed in a show ring. All games charged ss. Nomination Fees must accompany nominations, or will not be handicapped. This rule will be strictly enforced. All correspondence to be addressed to The Secretary, Rowan, via Stratford. Handicaps will appear in the “Stratford Post” about February 10, 1914. The boundaries for Event No. 4 will be the east side of Mangawhoro Road to Riverlea, the north side of Eltham Road to Palmer Road, and the west side of Palmer Road to the Reserve.
