ALLEGED BLACKMAIL.
BLIND SENATOR’S TROUBLES. [By Electric Telegraph—Copyright* [United Phess Association.] (Received 8 a.m.) New York, February 17. A blind Senator named Gore gave evidence that at Oklahama he was taken by Mrs Bond to a room in an iiotel where he told her he couldn’t endorse her husband’s application for a I* ederal position, and that when ho lose, to leave she seized his hand and screamed. Then, he said, two political opponents entered and professed to have witnessed the alleged assault. He scorned Bond’s claim for £lO 000 damages.
