o The Government Meteorologist (Re\ D. C. Bates) telegraphed this afternoon as follows; The indications are for northerly winds, strong to gale, and veering by west to south. 'The weather appears likely to eb cloudy and unsettled. Rain probable. Barometer unsteady, but has a falling tendency.
