The High Commissioner's market report from London on the 14th inst., stated:— Butter.—The market is quiet with prices slightly weaker for New Zealand and the expected demand did not materialise. The Danish warket is quiet, per cwt 120 s to 1235; New Zealand market quiet at 113 s to 116 s ; Australian is in fair demand at 109 s to 112 s; the Argentine market is quiet at 110 s to 112 s; Siberian is in fair demaid at 110 s to 112 s. Cheese. —The market is steady, and prices well maintained, with a fair demand for New Zealand. The market is firm for Canadian owing to , the short supply. Canadian, white. 68s to 70s to 725; New Zealand, white. 63s to 645, colored 65s to 665.
