CONSTABLE'S SMART CAPTURE. [Per Press Association. 1 Invercargill, February 10. A burglary at Bray Pros.' was, smartly foiled by Constable Hood between three and four o'clock this morning. The officer noticed a trap ■ .curtaining two men pull up at the premises. The men entered, and when they heard the constable approaching, they escaped through tin office window. After a sharp chase, 'Nonstable Hood captured one, Edward Parland, a pastry cook, who was charged with entering premises with intent to commit a crime, and was emanded till Wednesday.
