Presiding at the doctors' dinner in honor of Mr Addison. M.P., Mr Lloyd George stilted that 20,000 out of 22,500 doctors in Britain were on the panel. The twenty thousand, .however, included duplicates serving on more than one panel. The Government had distributed 4.; million amongst doctors, averaging .t 230 apiece. The average in London was £330, Birmingham £3BO, Manchester £295, Liverpool £370, and Durham £230.
