Mr Johnson, ex-chief Railway Commissioner for New South Wales, has departed for England, says a Sydney
Mr Robert Spence (of Spence and Stanford, Stratford) who has decided to take a trip to Europe, will leave by the P. ami 0. steamer Malwa which sails from Sydney on April loth.
Mr T. C. Fookes, whose health has been indifferent for some time, has been ordered by his doctor to take a trip abroad, and lie intends to leave (ui a visit to England at an early date.
Mrs Fulton, of Stratford, who has
just underg Plymouth, ;
;one an operation at New and whose condition was
causing anxiety, is now reported to be doing as well as could be expected, •she spent a very good night, and t\as much easier this morning.
31 r W. A. Reunell, who lias acted as accountant at the Stratford branch of the Bank of New Zealand for the past four years, lias received notice of his transfer,, and leaves to-morrow morning for Wellington. He has not yet been informed where he will be stationed in future.
