Mr Dcnliam, Premier of Queensland, in the course of an interview, said there was onthing to warrant the thought that the American meat combines wore attempting to rapture the Australian meat trade. Mr Denham said he did not credit the suggestion that the trust had raised prices, which was due to increased consumers, and the diversion of Australasian shipments to America and the Continent.
