MINERS’ MAXIMUM WAGE. (By Electric Telegraph—Copyright, 1 1 United Press Association,] ~ , (Received 11.15 a.m.) London, February 3. The executive of the Miners’ Federation urged an amendment in the Minimum Wage Act. The- Premier, replying, said lie should not recommend Parliament to increase the minimum to 9d per day. Ho did not think the deputation had made out a strong case for extension oi the minimum to surface workers.
