CENERAL ELECTION IMMINENT.

have circularised their agents to prepare for a general election in May. The paper declares that the Opposition contemplate bringing Parliament to an end before May, possibly by disorder in the House of Commons or by the Lords suspending the Army Annual Bill.

VOLUNTEERS ON PARADE.
PRESENTED WITH COLORS.
The ladies of Londonderry and Dunbath presented regimental colors to the North Down volunteers. Thousands were on parade, and an impressive dedication service concluded with cheers for the King and the singing of the National Anthem.
