TARANAKI SHOW.

We have to acknowledge receipt ot programme of the Inranaki Anneal tural Show, which takes place on Wednesday and Thursday, February 25th and 26th next', and to compliment the Association on the way they have catered for every class of exhibitor from the horse breeder to the sheep and cattle man, with ample provision for the dairyman, and classes for every kind and description ol the cannie tribe. Then there is the section which is especially important in a district like Taranaki which might justly he called the home of tfie butter industry in New Zealand. The Association has also provided a first-class spectacular programme for each day. There are the ladies’ driving and riding competitions, maiden leaping and pony competitions on the first day, whilst on the second there, are leaping competitions (steeplechase style) and leaping competition for ladies. There is also a harnessing and unharnessing competition for ladies. Valuable prizes have been allotted to all of these events, and good entries should he received) Entries for all events close on February 1-1 th. Programmes of Show may he obtained on application to the Secretary, A. L. Humphries, Box Hk New Plymouth.
