TARANAKI SHOW.
All event of primary importance to agricultural and pastoral interests in the Dominion is the big show which takes place in New Plymouth on February 25th and 26th next, and for which preparations are now in progress. The large amount of prize money and trophies is largely responsible for the keen interest being displayed. That the Taranaki A. and I*. Committee back up their honours with something more than mere prize tickets and certificates will he seen hy a glance at the schedule. Numerous enquiries for schedules have been received from dog fanciers from all over the Dominion, and as a consequence the Committee is anticipating full benches in these classes. Keen competition is expected in the horse classes, and from present indications there will he record entries. There are many other items which attract attention, hut through all the programme the word “progress” is written, and to those of our readers who have not yet seen one of these seminational functions, we say, see the one next month and you will not regret it.
