NEW ZEALAND EXHIBITS.

Mr Pope, Secretary for Agriculture, is forwarding by direction of the Premier, a letter to the local bodies interested stating that the Government proposes to expend a sufficient sum in exhibiting primary products and manufactures at the Panama Exposition. Mr Clifton will be m charge. The Premier is desirous of seeing a central committee set up in Wellington and advisory committees in other centres, and invites suggestions in this connection. The Commissioner at the Exposition will be provided with an ample staff, which will he able to take care of and to explain private exhibits in those cases in which exhibitors do not propose to have their own representatives in attendance.
