Lee Temple, the aviator, was killed at Hendon after spiraling. He descended almost perpendicularly to a position too low to right himself. when a gust of wind overturned and dashed the monoplane to the ground. Temple's neck was broken.

In November last Temple, whose age is 21, had a very narrow c-scap at Hendon. He ascended 5000 feet in a monoplane, dived a thousand feet, and was then sis seconds on his back. He lost control of the monoplane, and for a few seconds was in extreme danger until lie,was able to complete his "S" dive.
