The Sponish-Ainerican Union has enlisted the assistance of eminent public men in all countries to induce President Huerta and General Carrenza to agree to an armistice and hold a conference on neutral ground and arrive at a settlement.
HUERTA A MENTAL WRECK.
New York, January 20
Private advices allege that General Huerta is a mental wreck. He is virtually held prisoner by his friends and advisers, being greatly depressed over the rebels' victories in the North.
