The half-yearly meeting of the Commercial Banking Company, of Sydney, disclosed the net profit for the year to be £138,242. A dividend of ten per cent, was declared and £50,000 added to the reserve.

The hundredth half-yearly meeting of the City Bank of Sydney was celebrated by increasing the dividend by one per cent., making the dividend six per cent,, and granting the staff » ten per cent, bonus.
