A DYNAMITE EXPLOSION.
EIGHT LIVES LOST. [Bt Electric Telegraph—Copyright] [United Press Association, 1 (Received 12.50 p.m.) Ottawa, January 19. A dynamite explosion occurred prematurely in the Canadian Northern Railway' construction works at Ross Point, Quebec, and killed eight workers.
Two laborers narrowly escaped a similar fate. The accident occurred when blowing up a rock in excavating for a pier for a bridge.
