FIRES.
ESTIMATING THE DAMAGE. [Per Press Association.] (Received 11 •a.m.) Sydney, January 16. In Weingott's fire, the damage is estimated at £BOOO. STORE .COMPLETELY DESTROYED Gore, January 16. By a fire in the outbuildings, either the bakehouse or the cartshed, attached to Xagle's store at Pukerau at 2.30 • o'clock this, morning the store and buildings were completely destroyed. About £IOO worth of goods was saved. The stock was insured in the Australian Alliance office for £750. The loss is considerably over this amount. The buildings were owned by Herron. The insurance on them is* not vet available.
DAMAGE AT WIRELESS STATION.

Sydney, January 16
A serious fire broke out at the Maritime Wireless Station at Randwiek. The building was filled with valuable machinery. The apparatus was insured for £30,000. Extensive damage running into several thousands was done.
