The Government Meteorologist (Rev D. C. Bates) telegraphed this afternoon as follows: The indications are for :—Freshening to westerly strong winds to gale at times. Mild and hazy conditions. Increasing haze and cloudiness, and an unfavorable change in the weather following. The barometer has a falling teotlt'iicv.
