The Government has authorised to be issued bonds of twelve million dollars to purchase meat packing plants and war supplies. EXECUTION OF PRISONERS. Mexico City, January 12. It is reported that Villa executed 500 prisoners at Ojinaga. The rebels are still unable to penetrate southwards.
REBELS INTERNED BY AMERICA.
New York, January 12
Texas reports that the United States is interning six Mexican Federal generals, and 3000 soldiers who are fugitives from Ojinaga until hostilities hroughout Mexico are ended. This is considered to be the only practical method of dealing with refugees, owing to the likelihood of every one of the captured rebels being shot.
