The Tagelitch Erimdsohau states that the reason the Crown Prince was transferred to Berlin was the unsatisfactory relations with his military superiors, especially with General - acKenson, whom the Kaiser selected as his son’s adviser. It is stated in court circles that the Kaiser is determined to prevent the Crown Prince from making a further political demonstration. He considers the Crown Prince’s encouragement of Deimling was an act of disloyalty, and a rebuff to himself.
The Radical newspapers declare that the Crown Prince is unfit to wear the Imperial Crown of the nation, and that it would be intolerable to have as a Sovereign one who, as Crown Prince, encouraged violence and illegality. The Conservative newspapers take a contrary view, and therein lies the demonstration.
