The Bishop of Uganda, at the Evange- * licai Conference, stated that outside Uganda there was an enormous heathen' population which was hanging in the balance, either inclined to Mohammedanism or to Christianity. Ax present there was a tending towards Christianity predominating. Ihorc was need for Christians of all denominations to supply the motive power of prayer.
