The Sydney Farmers' and Settlers' Association resolved to demand the right to nominate two of 'the States' six Liberal candidates, to the Federal Senate with the avowed object of consolidating the Anti-Socialist forces in the country centres. LABOR'S POSITION IN N.3.W. Sydney, January 9. A big Labor rally was held to jubilate over the election victory. Mr rlohnan summed up the position. He
said the majority of people had come to see that the Labor movement only contained anything tangible for the future of the State. In the citv the
victories were drawn tic and overwhelming. With the exception of Goulburn and Corowa, the whole of New South Wales wan now Labor, and if all pulled together there would be further victories in the struggles thai were still unwon.
