• The -Times, in a leading article on the strengthening of the Judicial Committee o I'thc Pnvy Council, referring to Baron Cripps' appointment, 'says that when the Court of the Empire meets again in a few days it will he as strong as ever, and much [stronger than in some periods of its history, with 'the probability of the best judges in the Dominions sitting in time. In time the Court shall command for its decisions the respect of Indian and colonial judges and of litigants. There is need, as there never was before, of a court in which are represented conspicuously and indisputably learning, experience and good sense.
