"The World" prints a sensational dispatch from Mexico City stating that' President Huerta expressed the jfape that Hell would contain' both President Wilson and himself before ho would resign the Mexican Presidency. President Huerta declares: "The rime has gone past vhen 1 would give the slightest consideration to an\ suggestion to resign the Presidency. Once 1 might have resigned at the bidding of anyone, but now, No! It is aot a 'question of pride or ambition ivith me, hut duty and nothing else.' 1 President Huerta is reported to have asked what President Wilson knew of Mexico or Mexico's needs. Mexico, he said, had plenty of money and people who . wanted to get rid )f him would have 1 to hatter his head >IF his shoulders before they killed him or his Government.

"The World's" statement is based in what President Huerta is alleged to have said to an American visitor. who conversed with him at the National Place Astoria.

The press announces that President Wilson and Mr Lind's conference merely consisted of Mr Lind reporting the success of the President's waiting policy regarding Mexico. President Wilson was pleased with the report and decided to continue the attitude.
