Sir William Lever, head of Lever Bros,, arrived at Sydney from an extended visit to 'the firm’s plantations mi the islands. In an interview Sir William strongly advocates the big firms of Sydney and elsewhere adopting Levers’ profitsharing system, wherewith ho declared they were well satisfied. The system tended to make tho employees take a greater interest in their work'and become more efficient. The Herald states that?.
