Two years ago he learnt that a irelative in England had left him £7500. He must produce' 'convincing' proofs of his identity, hut as he is living under an assumed name this would mean that lie would he liable to arrest under the
warrant issued twenty-two years ago. Unless the. legacy is claimed before March, it will go to charity. The problem is perplexing him whether he will risk imprisonment or lose the money. William Condon, aged 30, met a terrible death at Whiddon Brothers’ tannery, Botany, to-day.
