Mr William O'Brien, M.r., speaking in Cork, .said that Ireland would be saved from a quagmire if Lord Loreburn's proposals wore honestly accepted. He did not blame Mr Asquiih, whose hands were tied by the Devlins and the Dillons on one side and by Welsh Radicals cu the other. Mr O'Brien i.dded that he did not believe the rumor that Mr John Redmond was weakening regarding the partition of Ireland. His party still was ready to co-operate with 31 r Redmond in generous concessions to testants.
