DEAD IN BED. [Peb Press Association.] Auckland, January 5. A verdict of death from an overdose of a sleeping-draught, accidentally taken, was returned a{ an inquest held tin’s morning by Mr D. A. Sutherland, coroner, on the body of Edwin Pay water, aged 70, who was found dead in bed yesterday morning in his house in Kingsland. PARCEL-CARRIER DROWNED. Auckland, January o. William Sutton, aged IS, a parcelcarrier employed hy ihe Post Oflice, was drowned at Birkdnlo yesterday through a dinghy capsizing.
