Disgraceful scenes occurred at the funeral of Harry Fragson, the vaudeville artist who was murdered hy his father. Thousands of people struggled violently to seek a coign of vantage. When the procession reached the church women and children broke the cordon of police and tore to pieces the wreaths, which the crowd fought for. The church was packed with noisy sightseers. Many of Fragson’s friends vere unable to enter. The ceremony was continually marred by irreverent interruptions.. During the procession to the cemetery crowds hooted a man who rescmMecl Fragson ‘s father, shouting ‘‘Assassin,” and “Down the old wretch.” Hawkers mingled with the crowd sell- : ng Pragson’s songs in strident tones.
