FIGHTING AT OJINAGA.

New York, January 2,
Reports from. Presidio, Texas, state that the northern division of the Federal army, which is shut up in Ojiuaga, is apparently about to tiee across the American border. Hundreds of wounded are walking along the banks of the river. American troops are heading them off and preventing them from crossing. Fighting around Ojinaga is proceeding, and the rebels are gaining ground.

The United States commander has been ordered to receive the fleeing Federal s if they cross the American border from Mexico in the neighbourhood of Ojinaga. A Red Cross Brigade will render assistance, but will disarm » every one. I ' HUERTA RULE. (Received 11.50 am..) Mexico City, January 2.
President Huerta has released twenty-six imprisoned deputies, but still detains Don Reyes, ex-Minister of Justice, and Don Estalo, ex-Min-ister of Public Instruction. The judge who tried the cases held that there was no basis for the accusation of rebellion.
