KIKUYU CONTROVERSY.

Campbell, of the City Temple, in an interview, said it would be regrettable if the Kikuyu controversy resulted in disruption. Possibly the missions enthusiasts at Kikuyu went too far, and were too sudden in their disposal of great historic questions. The agreement asks too much from either party and there was room for a compromise.
