THE TASMAN REFLOATED.
PROCEEDING TO THURSDAY ISLAND.

A telegram has been received stating that the Tasman has been refloated, and that her pumps will be able to keep the water in her holds down. Probably she will proceed to Thursday Island.
THE ELDORADO WRECK.
MAROONED SAILORS RESCUED.
Advices from Norfolk Island state that the steamer Knight of the Garter, which has arrived there, called at Easter Island and rescued eight of the marooned crew of the American schooner Eldorado which .was abandoned in June last in a sinking condition.
The captain and two of the crew left the island in a life- boat two months previously for Tahiti and have not since been heard of.
