LONGEST 'PHONE CABLE.
WALES TO IRELAND. CBy Electric Telegraph—Copyright] Times—Sydney Sun Special Cables. (Received 8 a.m.) London, December 30. A telephone cable has been laid from Xevin. in Carnarvonshire, to Howth, Ireland. It is sixty-four nautical miles in length, which is the longest yet laid.
