TENNIS. [Per Press Association.! Auckland, December 29. The Now Zealand tennis championships were continued to-day in fine wetthcr. In the third round of the combined doubles Miss Steel and Olliver beat Miss Gumming and Eraser 6—o, 6—2; Miss Gray and Swauston beat Miss Gome and Duthio 7—5, 6—2. V ATHLETICS. Wellington, December 29. .'The following athletes havo been selected to represent Now Zealand in the Australasian championships at Melbourne on 24th and 26th January: —A. Dormer, Auckland, middle distances ; G. Keddell, Southland, hurdles and jumps; D. Casbman, Wellington, walks. A fourth man will be selected —cither Holm (Napier) for hammerthrowing, or Beatsou (Otago) for long distance running, i •'•. » .' ■
