AN ONEHUNGA FATALITY. [Per Press Association.] Auckland, December 28. , John William Hall, 30 years old, widower, and a recent arrival in Onehunga, was found floating in the Manucau Harbor on Saturday. Ho had leen missing since Christmas Day. His neck was broken, apparently from falling from the wharf. At an inquest i verdict was returned that Hall had )een accidentally killed. , Auckland,. December 28. Harry"Welsford, a niarried man, 61, ,vas injured at Tuak.ni on Saturday >y his horse'swerving on to the foot)atii and throwing him against a telegraph pole. Gil Boxing 'Day, 1 a middle aged man lamed Walter George Dentford was brown from his horse/; at Marion I unction, receiving a fractured 'skull; tie died on- Sunday morning, and eaves a widow and one child. At the inquest a verdict was reourried that death resulted from a fracture- of the base of (the skull, the result jf falling off his horse. ! EARLY SETTLER'S DEATH, Taumaruntii, December 28. H. De Yere Hunt : , an-elderly man, nd one of the early settlers in the ving Country, was found drowned in he Onga'rue River, near Taumarului yesterday morning. FOUND IN POOL OF WATER. Blenheim, Decemher 29. Annie Louisa Eves, 32, was found frowned in a pool of water behind the residence of her father, Mr J. C. Hooper, "Wairau Valley, on Xmas day.* Medical evidence showed that deceased was suffering from hystero epilepsy uid probably fell into the water whan suffering from a fit. The jury returnid an open verdict.
