RESCUED IN MID-OCEAN. BARQUE MALAWA ABANDONED. [By Electric Telegraph—Copyrighil [United Press association. 1 (Received 9.25 a.m.) New York, December 28. Eight of the crew of the British barque Malawa were rescued in midocean by the British steamer Cestrian. and landed at Key west. The Malawa was abandoned as a derelict. The crew spent a day in the rigging, before they attracted the attention of the Cestrian by means of torchon.
