Results:— Fitzroy Handicap.—Maniaroa 1, Gerberga 2, Florist 3. Scratched: Di Gama, Captain Mirp and Patroness. Won bya neck. Time, Imin 31sec. Hurdles.—Timothy 1 Tirohanga 2, Katua. All started. Won by two lengths." Time, 2min 47 2-osec. Inglewood Handicap.—Zetes • 1, Tetikura 2, Astor 3. Scratched: Srnilax and Scorch. Mon by three-quar-ters of a length. Time, Imin losec. Summer Handicap.—Ratana 1, Playolf 2, Patroness 3. All started. AVon by a length and a half. Time, Iminj IGsec.

MANAWATU RACES. Palmerston N>, December 27. The weather was again beautiful and the attendance large for the second day of the Manawatu Racing Club’s summer meeting. Results:— Kelvin Hack.—Braeburn 1, Hiwixapu 2, To Hon Hon 3. All started. It was a splendid race, a head separating the placed horses. Time, Imin 17 3-osec. Tiritea Hurdles.—Marble Head 1, Rill 2, Taurangi 3. A 1 started. Won by a length, half a length between second and third. Time, 3inin 22sec. Highden Hack, —Heather 1, Iliad s Hero 2, Pavlova 3. Scratched: Aratiatia, Wailana and Sir Fisher.
