Day's events declared on or about Saturday, 13th December, 1913, and for Second Day's events on Thursday, January Ist, 1914 at 8 p.m. Acceptances, for First Day's events, and Entries for Borough Stakes, Farmers' Plate, and Cardiff Stakes, close on Monday, 22nd December, 1913, at 9 p.m. Acceptances for Second Day's events close at 9 p.m. on Thursday, Ist January, 1914. TROPHIES. Trophies to the value of £5 each will ho presented to the riders of the winners of the Farmers' Plato and Ladies' Purse respectively. The winner of any Hat race after the publication of weights to carry Tibs. pen., and for every additional race a further penalty of 71bs, or, if he thinks fit, the handicapper may re-handicap the winner of any race after the declaration of weights. Owners shall he responsible for the accuracy of the weights to be carried bv their homes. (Rule XIX-11.) DEFINITION OK A HACK. (Fiat and Hurdle Races). No horse shall start in any Hack Flat Pace which has at'any time prior to the time of entry, won a race of the value of £IOO to the winner, or races to tho aggregate value of £250 to the winner, nor in any Hack Hurdle Race or Steeplechase which has at any time prior to tho time of entry, won a race of the value of CISO to the winner, or races of the aggregate value of. £-100 to the winner.
