WEST COAST RESERVES.
MAORIS ENDORSE LEGISLATION. [Per Press Association.] Hawera, December 19. A large number of Maoris, representing the whole of Taranaki, met at Taiporohenui yesterday to discuss the recent legislation passed as affecting the West Coast Reserves. Dr. Pomare was present and explained the legislation, and after a free discussion the meeting endorsed what had been done and passed a vote of confidence in the Government.
