The Government Meteorologist (Rev D. C. Bates) telegraphed this afternoon as follows: — The indications are for southerly moderate to strong winds with westerly tendency. There is a prospect o fair to 'cloudy weather, with a cold night. The barometer has a rising tendency. ___
