THE SCHOOL SPORTS.
»iTH*JRSD*y’S EVENTS. Everything promises well for the school sports, which are to he held on Victoria Park on Thursday, racing commencing at one o’clock sharp. The championship of the school will be de-cided-over three flat races—loo, ‘220, • ■and : 44oyds—the winner of most points to be'champion.. These races are in addition to the races for which handicaps are given below. A special feature of the gathering will he the quartermile -steeple, over twelve three-toot hurdles, fho which *45 boys are entered. From three to four o’clock the girls’ swimming sports will be held at the baths, the spectators to bo confined to ladies.
