The winner of any,flat race after the publication of weights to carry 71bs. pen., and for every additional race a further penalty of 71bs, or, if fle thinks tit, the handicapper may re-handicap the winner of any race after the declaration of weights. Owners shall he responsible for the accuracy of the weights to be carried by their liorses.. (Rule XIX-11.) DEFINITION OF A HACK. (Flat and Hurdle Races). No horse shall start in any Hack Flat Race which lias at any tune prior to the time of entry,, won a race of the value of £IOO to the winner, or races to the aggregate value of £250 to the winner, nor in any Hack Hurdle Race or Steeplechase which has at any time prior to the time of entry, won a race of the value of £l5O to the,Vinner, or races of the aggregate value of £4OO to the winner.
